Chamber of Commerce's Annual Meeting of the Membership

We are excited to invite you to the Chamber of Commerce's Annual Meeting of the Membership, scheduled for Wednesday, May 15th, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. This important gathering will take place at the Columbiana Cultural Collective, in the theater at 5 N. Main St. in Columbiana. The event is free and your RSVP is appreciated. This year’s meeting will be a dynamic and interactive event, welcoming both members and non-members to engage in open dialogue. We’ll be discussing our strategic plan for the upcoming three years and proudly unveiling a detailed report. Our agenda also includes a visual presentation of committee reports and the annual treasurer’s report. We encourage you to bring your questions, comments, ideas, and critiques, as your input is invaluable to our direction and success.

To make the evening enjoyable, we will be offering delicious ice cream from Lovie’s courtesy of Humtown as well as popcorn, candy, and drinks through the Collective’s concession.

Columbiana Ford Grand Reopening Ribbon Cutting

We request the community and your presence at our upcoming Grand Reopening Ribbon Cutting Event at our new state-of-the-art dealership along with the Columbiana Chamber of Commerce on Friday May 17, 2024 at 10am.

Columbiana Ford is the proud recipient of the Community Involvement Award at the 71st Annual Harvey Awards this past April for our sponsorships in the schools and community. We were recognized for our donations to the animal shelters, providing the schools with supplies and workout equipment, trunk or treat, visits from Santa, parades for the homecoming court and community for Christmas.

Guests of the ribbon cutting will be welcomed with refreshments.

Linda Camp, M.D., FACS, is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She performs all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery; and offers both surgical and non- surgical cosmetic procedures to help enhance her patients' appearance and quality of life. In addition to her SRMC Plastic Surgery practice, she provides leadership for SRMC's multidisciplinary cancer committees, along with consultative services and treatment for cancer patients at the University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center (UHSCC) at Salem Regional Medical Center.

Columbiana Wine Festival

Columbiana Area Tourism Bureau presents the Columbiana Wine Festival, an annual one-day-only wine-tasting event featuring local music, artisan vendors, delicious food, and selections from area wineries.

Space is limited. Wristbands for Columbiana Wine Festival 2024 are $30/advance $40/gate and include a commemorative glass, tasting booklet, and 10 tasting tickets

Advanced tickets are available for $30 at the Columbiana Area Visitor’s Center office at 11 N. Main Street, Columbiana, or online. The price is valid until noon on Friday, June 7, 2024. Wristbands for the advance sale will be available for pick-up at the Gate during the event.

Regular admission wristbands will be available at the gate for $40 starting at 4 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Additional sample tickets and bottles-to-go will be available for purchase at the event. Guests must be 21+ to participate.

Senior Health Fair - Celebrating Seniors

Celebrating Seniors is hosting a senior health fair on July 25 around its monthly senior lunch. The fair will be at First Presbyterian, Columbiana. While final details are still being established the fire will likely run from 11 - 2 and there will be a small table fee. Breaking Barriers, Building Confidence: Unleashing Women's Potential in the Workplace

The Columbiana Area and Salem Area Chambers of Commerce are pleased to offer an inspirational presentation for women, by women.

"Breaking Barriers, Building Confidence: Unleashing Women's Potential in the Workplace" will be led by Mandy McIntyre of Level Up Consultants at the Columbiana Cultural Collective on March 25th, with opening remarks from House Representative Monica Robb Blasdel and Dr. Anita Hackstedde, President/ CEO of Salem Regional Medical Center.

Our event begins at 9 am and should run for about 2 hours. This is a free event, with doors opening at 8 am.  Light refreshments will be served courtesy of Humtown Industries. For more information, please get in touch with your local Chamber office.

January Safety Council: Cyber Security

Rick Whitfield is a 2003 Columbiana High School graduate and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Ashland University where he majored in Criminal Justice. He has worked for over 18 years in law enforcement. He started his career in Goshen Township and Lisbon Village, then went to the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office and hired full-time in his hometown in 2011. He has worked alongside many state and federal agencies while investigating crimes in Columbiana, which have included: simple and felonious assault, burglary, robbery, fraud, computer crimes, sexual assault, and homicide.

He has professional training through the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy and have completed the Master Criminal Investigator program which includes training in interview and interrogation, crime scene photography, death investigation, drug identification, computer crimes and sexual assault investigation.

He is the Columbiana Police Department's Training Officer and is in charge of developing and implementing our Field Training Program through our trained Field Training Officers. He is also responsible for developing and presenting annual training plans to the Chief of Police and ensuring that our officers are in compliance with annual training requirements set by the State of Ohio.

Rick is also assigned to be a Member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force which is a national network of 61 task forces and helps to identify and prosecute offenders that victimize children over the internet.
